STARS NIGHT 2022

From to

Stars Night, Thursday August 11 at the Euro Space Center.

A great astronomy party for the whole family in the Euro Space Center.

On August 11, come and see unique animations such as theme-based workshops for kids and adults; planet observations with many astronomy clubs; planetariums; and many other surprises to discover in family or with your friends.

We did not choose this date by accident. This is the perseids’ shooting stars peak which allow us to observe between 70 and 110 shooting stars per hour.

In addition to this show, you will observe the Moon at the beginning of the night, and then Saturn, Jupiter, nebulae and galaxies a bit later. Clearly one of the best skies of the year!

This event is free. The Euro Space Center and some astronomy clubs will share their passion and knowledge for the astronomy.

No need for scientific knowledge or sophisticated material to start your sky exploration: follow our tips and you’ll conquer the cosmic world!

What’s the program? INSIDE and OUTSIDE activities:

From 4.30 PM outside:

From 5.30 PM inside: LECTURES
