Grandparents and Grandchildren: A Family Activity to Discover Space at the Euro Space Center
22/06/2026Why Experience a Space Mission as a Family?
An Adventure to Share with Your Grandchildren
"Why do astronauts float in space?" "Will we one day be able to live on Mars?"
Children's questions never seem to end. At the Euro Space Center, the answers are never far away: through an experiment, an activity, or a conversation with one of our Space Instructors.
For your grandson or granddaughter, every area becomes a new discovery. For you, it is an opportunity to share their sense of wonder and experience an adventure together that you will remember for years to come.
Whether you are a grandpa, grandma, grandfather or grandmother, it is rare to find an activity that sparks so much curiosity and enthusiasm across all generations.
Most activities are accessible from a recommended height of 110 cm, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the experience. Children under 110 cm receive free admission.
An Outing Unlike Any Other
Here, you do not just watch — you take part.
Jump on the Moon, experience the sensations of a launch in the Space Rotor, explore Mars, or take on the challenges of a space mission... More than 11 immersive activities await you.
And because keeping up with energetic grandchildren is not always easy, the Euro Space Center also offers a few quieter moments. The Planetarium, for example, is appreciated as much for its journey through the stars as for the well-deserved break it provides for grandparents.

A Passion That Extends Far Beyond the Visit
As you have probably realised by now, the Euro Space Center is much more than a simple family outing. It is an adventure that appeals to both grandparents and grandchildren, creates lasting memories, and can sometimes even spark a shared passion.
Space has something unique about it: it brings generations together around the same questions, the same discoveries, and the same sense of wonder.
Today at the Euro Space Center, tomorrow in your garden or during an evening walk. After all, all it takes is looking up at the sky to continue the journey. Observing the Moon, spotting a planet, or admiring the stars becomes another opportunity to talk, dream, and spend quality time together.
And who knows? This day at the Euro Space Center may be the beginning of many more space adventures with your grandchildren.
