Two evenings to experience the Euro Space Center in a whole new way
In 2026, Les Féeries Nocturnes return for two special evenings where space, magic and poetry come together: 24 October and 26 December.

What can you do with children in Belgium during the winter holidays?
During the winter holidays, a family attraction where you can spend several hours without depending on the weather is particularly useful. In Transinne, in the Belgian Ardennes, the Euro Space Center offers a day visit lasting around 6 hours with 11 space-themed activities, including simulators, gravity experiences, immersive missions, a Planetarium and scientific discoveries.
What indoor family activity can you do in Wallonia when it is cold or raining?
The Euro Space Center is particularly well suited to winter days because most of the visitor experience takes place indoors. Mars Explorer, LUNAR·X, the Mars Village, Planetarium, Space Show 5D and the main simulators are covered. The Cosmic Valley is the main outdoor part of the visit.
What can you do during a day visit to the Euro Space Center?
The day visit includes 11 activities. Families can explore Mars with Mars Explorer, travel to the Moon with LUNAR·X, experience lunar and Martian gravity with Moon Walk XP and Mars Walk XP, test centrifugal force in the Space Rotor, discover the Mars Village and Space Tour, enjoy the Space Show 5D and explore the universe in the Planetarium.
Is the Euro Space Center suitable for children during the Christmas holidays?
Yes. The visit is designed as a family experience and is particularly recommended from around age 6 to fully enjoy the scientific content. Some activities have minimum height requirements: 1.10 m for Moon Walk XP, Mars Walk XP, Space Show 5D and LUNAR·X, and 1.30 m for the Space Rotor. Children under 1.10 m tall receive free admission but cannot access every simulator.
How long should you allow for a winter day visit to the Euro Space Center?
Allow around 6 hours to discover the 11 activities included in the day visit. The experience is self-guided with a recommended route, allowing families to explore at their own pace. Arriving in the morning is recommended to make the most of the full experience.
Can you eat at the Euro Space Center during a family day out?
Yes. The Voyager Café is a self-service restaurant located inside the Euro Space Center and provides a convenient place to take a break during the visit. The site also offers free parking and charging points for electric vehicles, making it easy to organise a full family day out.
Should you book the Euro Space Center in advance during the winter holidays?
Advance booking is not compulsory but is strongly recommended during school holidays because daily capacity is limited. Booking helps guarantee admission on busy days. Online reservations made at least 2 days before the visit also save €2 per ticket.
